Robert Pattinson wears “sandals” on the red carpet. Who says formal attire can only be paired with leather shoes?

Among the many male stars, Robert Pattinson has always been a maverick. He avoided social situations as much as possible and always maintained his own unique style of dressing, a set of rules that sometimes led to wildly different and sometimes huge successes that were almost unpredictable. Although he is the global spokesperson for Dior and has close relationships with many contemporary designers, Rob Pattinson prefers practicality to grandiose appearances. The actor often even wears a “hoodie and sweatpants” instead of a three-piece suit for important occasions.

Earlier this month, Robert Pattinson once again appeared in a stunning outfit at the premiere of the “Die, Darling” movie held in New York. He put on a formal suit, but got funny with his feet, walking on the red carpet in sandals, and received unexpected praise.

Robert Pattinson has worked closely with Dior on Avenue Montaigne for ten years and recently participated in the Dior Icons advertising campaign. The style worn this time was designed by the new creative director Jonathan Anderson, which symbolizes the direction that Dior’s new helmsman will lead men’s fashion. Slightly unbuttoned shirt buttons and tailored trousers have become the latest core elements of men’s wardrobe.

This time Robert Pattinson chose a short suit jacket paired with black trousers, a white shirt with a casually open collar, and a suit vest of the same color as the outer layer to add layering. There was also a small detail hidden in the look: a white scarf extending from the bottom of the shirt.
